能够在波特兰这样的城市打球，是上天的眷顾。很高兴我能够和球队签下长约，这样我得以继续在场内以及场外为这座城市发光发热，因为我热爱这支球队，这座城市和这里的球迷。这种爱是相互的，我期待在这里能留下一些特别的东西。
感激已经去世的阿伦老板为这只球队打造的充满爱、亲情和求胜欲的氛围，感谢他一直信任我。
感谢球队的总经理尼尔-奥尔希当初选中我，并且继承了阿伦老板的传统，时刻把球员放在第一位，每一年都为球队阵容进行补强。

It’s a blessing , honor and a privilege to be able to play in a city like Portland. Thankful I’m able to sign on long term and continue my work not only on the court but in the community. I love this city , this organization and the fans. The love is mutual and I’m looking forward to building something special . Also want to thank the late Mr. Allen for building a culture based on love, family and winning. Want to thank him for believing in me. Want to thank Neil for drafting me and continuing Mr. Allen’s legacy of putting players first while putting together a great roster each year. Lastly, I want to thank Jodi for having faith and allowing me to extend me career in a city that means so much to me.
